This came out several years ago, as I recall. I first saw a note about it in Windows Secrets probably at least eight years ago.

I think Microsoft issued some patches for it in IE6 and IE7 in late 2006. Also, I think if you disable scripts in Java under customized security, you can eliminate this hack.

There was a security bulletin released by Adobe regarding flash player in 2008 APSB08-18. But, again, I am not sure why Mike brought this issue up now, as this appears to be pretty old news.
Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.
