My standard method for filling out unfamiliar forms, or badly labeled forms, is to use the virtual cursor to arrow down, reading the text information, enter forms mode on the entry boxes, then hop out of forms mode and continue reading. If the form is properly coded it will tell you the label of the field you are tabbing into. But otherwise it isn't a big hardship to just hop in and out of forms mode as needed.
