Depends on what you are trying to do with Oracle and how. I am an Oracle
Database Administrator. I typically interact with Oracle on Solaris and
linux boxes using JAWS on a Windows box, and Cygwin.
You can use sqlplus on Windows if you want, and it does sort of work.
I am not familiar with using Oracle Applications as a front-end, IE, I
manage the Oracle Applications databases, but I never log into the
applications themselves, so don't know about their accessibility.
Oracle does consider accessibility though. I use their Grid monitoring
tool for monitoring all our databases and it is quite accessible, although
you need to set an accessibility mode in your personal preferences.
Installing Oracle on a box can bee tricky, but there is a such thing as a
silent install which uses a parameter file, and no GUI interface, and that
works quite well.
