using windows 7, jaws 13 and WLM, Control+#3 does not work for me.

Although you've told us that your using windows 7, and jaws 13 you
didn't say which email client your asking about.
outlook 2010 and outlook 2007,
You can either press,
Ctrl+#3 on the number row,
Or, you can press ctrl+shift+b=book, also to add contact, you can use,
ctrl+shift+c=contact.
Windows live mail to view/edit your contacts use ctrl+#3, To add
contact, ctrl+shift+c=contact.
