Yes you sure Can. In the list of optional updates, find it, hit applications
key, and hit hide update.

Rose, do a system restore to the day before the update showed up, and see if

It refuses to go completely away, it is a search engine and I have
uninstalled it numerous times and the next day it is back and then I just
tell IE to not use it.  I am annoyed because it is intrusive.
