I don't know. As I said I have not tried it my self yet. I suggest you take a look at the website and read more about VueScan there. If you decide to try it out I do recommend you to download the free version before buying because I don't know whether it's actually accessible. More I think about it I seem to recall that it was the Mac version I saw somebody recommend as a good and accessible OCR solution. But downloading and trying out the free version for Windows won't hurt since it's free.
