David, that seemed to fix it. Why, I wonder do I have to do it that way. I used
to
just arrow up and down between folders, and now gthis way of going to the
folders,
made it possible to open the folder and the unread messages were there. Thanks
so
much. This has really been annoying me, and I'msure the list too, so thanks. Jim

And letter navigate and press enter?

I do not have outlook 2007 so can't answer the question at hand
unfortunately.

Agreed, I'll give you that. I messed up. Nevertheless, have you an idea of
how to resolve the problem? Jim

Then you should have put it back in the subject line field.

Hello;
Well, navigation pane should be set to normal;
Reading pane set to off,
The to-do-bar set to off,
Also in the view menu,
In the toolbar sub menu,
Standard should be checked,
Also in the view menu,
Make sure the status bar is checked.
Let me no if this helps.

I apologize if this message reached the list earlier.

I am running jaws 13, on a windows 7 home premium machine, with outlook
2007. Here is the problem.

When I open a folder with unread messages in it, I have to tab over past, an
edit field, search button and expand the query button before I get to the
list of unread messages. I should be able to open the folder, and see the
unread messages right off. It did it in the past before yesterday. Any ideas
on what to do? My reading pain is set to off. And I run outlook maximized.
Jim
