Hi list
When it comes to recording with a headphone microphone I am a beginner. I am practicing recording myself with the sound recorder. I successfully recorded from a Minnie cassette recorder to my line in on my computer. The recording of a thunderstorm came out very well. But as far as recording my voice over the microphone at first it came out very low. I went to the properties of the microphone headphone and changed it to studio quality. I went to the level tab and made sure the volume was at 100 percent. I changed the boost from 0 to 66 percent. Now the volume is a lot louder, but there is too much hiss. So to make this request short, I have two questions. 1. How do I get the maximum volume out of my microphone without all the hiss. 2. If I want to record computer lessons using Jaws in the recording, how do I include my voice and jaws together on the same recording. I hope you understand what I am asking. I am using the latest Jaws 13 on a windows 7, 32 bit system. I have two sets of speakers on my computer. Jaws is coming out of the desktop sound card, everything else is coming through my USB Bose speaker system. Any help would be appreciated. I like to learn new things, it is very exciting. Thanks in advance for all your help… Jim: I've Learned....That life is like a roll of toilet Paper. The Closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes. God bless: GO BUCKS!!!
