Hi Jim If you want to record your voice and Jaws together, you must set the input of the recording program to stereo mix, and in windows 7, check the checkbox called listen to this device in the listen tab of microphone. However, I've just check and I don't see the options to do it with sound recorder. I never think I should hear my voice during record, so I'm sorry for unanswer. If you want to adjust volume, effect or anything for your audio, I think you can use GoldWave, studio recorder or some other programs. It more convinion. You can surb www.blind-geek-zone to find some podcast of using GoldWave. Finally, please do the step below to make sure you already enable the stereo mix. Note that not all sound card have this. If you use Windows vista or 7, do the folowing step Open control panel Open sound Navigate to recording page Tab to the list view, and hit the application key Down arrow to the options called show disable devices, and press enter. You should see the stereo mix in the list. Hope that help. ----- Original Message ----- From: jim To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, July 20, 2012 10:43 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] re-sound recorder and jaws
Thanks Cuong. If I put the volume level at 20 percent, I will not be able to hear the recording will I? You say using another program to edit the recording will bring up the volume, is this correct? Also, how do you record your voice and Jaws voice at the same time? thanks for any help, I am learning on the go, I appreciate any help...
