Hello there;

Do you have the preview pane turned off?
Windows-key+e=windows explorer,

Shift+tab twice, now right arrow to the preview pane, if it's checked
uncheck it.
Also, alt+p will turn off or turn on the preview pane.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] jaws 11, windows 7 64 bit and arrowing through a list
in windows explorer

hello list. As my subject line states i am having problems with this. When i
am in a large list of files and press the down arrow to navigate through the
list jaws will say the items in the list when i come over them. My problem
is that every so often jaws will announce vertical scroll bar and then on
the next down arrow it will announce list view. My biggest concern with this
is that i do not hear what those 2 list items are and need to arrow back up
to get that information. Has anyone else experienced thi
s and if so how is it fixed? My verbosity level is set to intermediate and i
have taken a look through the configuration settings for jaws but nothing
jumps out at me that could possibly be a fix for my problem. Any help or
suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Stephen faill
