Hello is the screen maximized?

After she types the email she can't read any text she has typed , it's as if there's nothing on the screen. If she sends that email to my desktop computer I can read everything just fine. When she is sending a email the text in the subject line will read just fine. In MS Word she can type something and it will read back like it should. Any ideas on this.
