I am pretty sure I used one called Prism to convert avi videos to mp4's a
while back.  It is by the same company that makes Switch audio converter.  I
have a new laptop so it is not on this one yet.  I did a  Google search for
Prism video converter and came up with lots of info.
For example

tells you all the different formats and also has a download link.
At least the basic form is free, I am pretty sure.

Hi, I need to know if any of you can recommend a good video format
converter. I have a daughter that we are preparing for intense feading and
sqallow therapy, and we are suppose to make videos of how we are working
with her.
But I need a video format converter that I can work with.So far I've tried
windows movy maker and Any video Converter.
But, they haven't gone too well.
