Have you tried pressing the letter "n." That will take you to the
next element on the page which should be the text you are looking
for.

My name is Jolynn and I am new to the list. I have been using
Jaws
for a few years now and have really had no problems until
recently. I
am wondering if there is an option somewhere that would allow me
to
turn off Jaws reading blank lines when navigating a web page. I
use a
few sites that require me to navigate line by line and it is very
time
consuming to have to go through what seems to be a ton of blank
lines
that Jaws is reading. I would love to be able to skip them and
get
right to the text on the site. I have looked around in the menus
and
am not sure if I am missing something or what. I am using Jaws
11.0
