Can you explain the following statement regarding .iso files because I have never understood this terminology. Thanks.

i use the free download of starburn (version 12.x) as my primary burner, but have noticed that nero 10.X is also accessable (on my wifes machine). i have also used the built in burning capabilities of windows 7 and had little trouble with it, plus there is burners available in windows media player and winamp that are said to work fine but i have not tried them. starburn can be found with a simple google search and downloaded for free, the only glitch i have found is when you first start it, you should get a screen that says regestered to or just starburn, here you can jaws cursor or just hit alt and a for the actions menu to start the proper project type! a side note it will also burn video files and mount .iso files so you can use them as a disk instead of needing to burn them. take care, inthane -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Lisa D. I'm trying to find the most accessible program to burn CDs using this kind of set up. I've used Power 2 Go by Cyberlink, but it keeps getting me stuck in data mode and sometimes I don't want that. I used to use Nero in XP along with Roxio and Windows Media Player in XP, but I'm not sure which is best. I had gotten one from Top Tech Tidbits, but can't find it anywhere. Can you guys please let me know what you're using or what you know works best? Thanks.
