have you gone ahead using the Save Link As dialogue? (This works to
download the file/program.) I believe you will find that the actuall
installer will reside in the downloads folder of Firefox. (Press control
j, etc.)

Hi all,
I don't know why this is, but when I try to save program installers
such as a youtube converter or any program installers, Mozilla firefox
saves instead of the program I want to save. This is completely
annoying and frustrating as I tried to save freemake video to mp3
before installing it, and when I try to save it to my documents,
mozilla firefox would save instead the link not the exe file. This is
so bizarre. Why is this and what can I do to fix this issue? Many
