Hi Russ,

There are 2 options that I know of. One is to copy the information from the
Outline view of PowerPoint and then paste it into Word. This will require
you to have Outline view set instead of the thumbnail view. I frequently
had trouble setting this in office 2007 and would end up needing sighted
assistance.

Another option is to do a save as. I can't remember what file options
exist, but I think there were several that could be opened in Word.

I can't remember if there is a 3rd option. I think there is an export
option somewhere in the File menu.

Sorry that I cannot provide you with more detail.

HTH,
Annette

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Converting 2007 powerpoint into MS word

Hi everyone,

I am using Jaws 13 and Powerpoint 2007.

I would like to convert a powerpoint into Word. If anyone has ideas for
this, this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Russ
