He said "Screen saver" not "screen reader". This makes alot of sense since I had a problem with Jaws12 and screen savers causing loss of focus and other weird problems.

I alt-tab around and there is no other screen reader running.
I just found that to be weird, in my case at least after upgrading to the
latest build of jfw 13.

Since misery loves company, I just thought I would ask.
No quoms with just restarting it.
Good day everyone!

Make sure you don't have any screen savers running in the background.
Jaws has a real disliking to screen savers.

Hello:

Using latest version of jaws 13, I was wondering has anyone encountered
a lag or focus with jaws after leaving the computer for a moment?

It's weird, I use the computer, I leave and come back for a minute and
jaws has trouble reading what ever window I am in. I found that if I
unload jaws and reload jaws, it works again.
