To hide a row, use the keystroke control 9 on the num row. To hide a column, use the keystroke control 0 on the num row. To unhide a row, select the rows before and after what you have hidden, and then put the shift key with control 9. To unhide a column, select the colimns before and after what you have hidden and put the shift with the control 0.
