Hello John,

You might try copying the "Desktop (create shortcut) option from Windows in
the default user profile to Windows in your user profile. It might make the
item to show in the SendTo submenu. Here are the steps:

1. Press the Windows key to bring up the search box in the start menu.
2. Copy the following line of text and paste it in the search box or type it
in:
%systemdrive%\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo
3. Press enter key after typing or pasting the above line.
4. Use up or down arrow keys until you find the Desktop as shortcut choice.
5. Do a right click or press shift with F10 to bring up the contextual
menu.
6. Choose Copy from the menu.
7. Press Windows key and either paste the following line into the search
box or type it in:
Shell:sendto
8. Press enter key after pasting the above line or typing it.
9. Use CTRL+V or pick Paste from the contextual menu.

You should be able to follow the same process for the Mail item.

I hope this works for you.

Take care.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] "send to" problems

Hi. list. I am using vista and jaws 10. When I right click on a document or
program and the "n" to open the send to list options, for some reason I no
longer get the desktop - creat shortcut, or mail options, only the drives. I
went to the "send to" folder in windows, and all the appropriate options are
there ie. mail, compressed, desktop etc. Has anyone come across this
before, and any instructions to correct this problem would be appreciated. I
seem to have difficulty using drag and drop funtions with jaws to creat a
shortcut otherwise. Thanks in advance.
