Hello Phil, JAWS 14 does not come up talking after my computer opens to the log on screen either. I'm very frustrated with this. I waste several minutes trying to get it to talk. This is a real problem that Freedom Scientific needs to address. I too have the settings set to open at the log on screen.
I think I will call Freedom Scientific about this problem.
