When I got my Win 7 Dell, Windows Explorer was crashing left and right. By turning the preview pain off, those issues got resolved. That was a year or so ago, so the steps to do it I don't recall off hand, but from what I do remember, it wasn't too hard. I think it had to do with going into the context menu and or the task bar. Perhaps someone on list can provide more detailed steps.
