Hi Kimsan
As you know, audacity is free, multi track. So it useful for creating
podcast or something like that. I like multi track recording because I can
import more than one clip into a project, and edit it endependonly.
GoldWave is not free, and not multi track. However, you can edit your common
files such as mp3, wave... directly. There are some hotkey simula to
audacity. In some case, editt audio file with GoldWave might easier than
Audacity.
The latest version of GoldWave have a feature call loopback. It good for
people who want to create tutorial with screen reader, but their sound card
don't have stereo mix.
Gold wave might good for recording or editing audio, such as cut, copy,
paste etc, but audacity is multi track recording, and contain a hundress of
free plugins. If would brings the best quality for your audio.
I usually record my tutorial using some other program, save as wave file,
edit it then import into audacity to apply effects such as noise removal,
compressor and export it to mp3.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] audacity or gold wave
Hi,
Using jaws, just looking for an opinion and no debate, do people find
audacity better to use with jaws or goldwave?
Also, gold wave works fine without scripts or are scrips needed?
Thanks.
