Hi David: Yes I used ready boost with my old computer. I was using 3 gb’s of ram, so I used a flash drive which I dedicated to ready boost. My computer used 5 gb’s of the available 16 gb’s, of the flash drive for ready boost, I stored stuff on the rest of the flash drive with no problems. Ready boost helped my computers performance quite a bit, in my opinion. I hope this helps you...
