Sometimes it helps to first open the Adobe digital reader on one's pc before downloading the .acsm file to the pc. The complete book will only be downloaded when one opens the acsm file with adobe digital reader on one's pc. Adobe ditgital reader version 2 is accessible with jaws, from version 12 but I never try to locate the files via its library. I open them by highlighting the acsm file in windows explorer and choose adobe digital reader via the application key. It will say fulfilling title and book content when the book has been opened. The complete file of the downloaded ebook, .epub or .pdf, will then be in the my digital editions directory under my documents. It reads fine with jaws 12 and you can use the bookmark and go to page features by pressing tab in the open document and following the prompts. She has Adobe Digital Edition for opening the books, but she is having issues with that as well. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
