I'm late on the thread with this, speaking from elsewhere. But unlike
North America, Europe (and
parts of the rest of the world) don't spring their clocks forward until
Sunday 31 March. Since you sprang forward on 10 march by 1 hour, you're
now GMT minus4 in effect.

I doubt it is the CMOS battery, because she states and has stated on
another list that the time is exactly an hour off.
Sherry, have you verified the following:
1. Open control panel, Date and Time.
2. Go to the time zone tab. Makre sure you are listed in the correct
time zone, gmt -5 for Eastern time, GMT -6 if you are in the Central
Time Zone in Florida. Then, make sure to check the box that you have
daylight time.
3. Then, go to the internet time tab and select one of the servers.
I have mine on the time.windows server. Then, try synchronizing it
and see if it still displays the coreect time.
Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.

You might have to get a C-moss battery.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] computer not holding correct time
I'm running Windows XP pro on my laptop. I was trying to sinc my
computer
with an internet time source. When I did, my computer kept saying it
is an
hour earlier than it actually is. Even when I unchecked the internet
time
and set it to daylight saving Eastern time, it still goes back to an
hour
earlier. Seems to me there is a discrepancy between my bios clock
and the
time I set. How can I get my computer to display and stay on the
correct
time? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. I am thanking
you in
advance so as not to clutter the list with thank you's.
