MS will continue Enterprise and government support for XP until the end
of 2014. The Federal government is hoping to migrate to Windows 7 by
October 2013, but it is unlikely that they will make that deadline. The
thing that troubles me is that they do not plan to upgrade or replace
the hardware.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] windows XP

Just wanted you folks to be aware of the fact that today marks the start
of the final year of official support for Windows XP.

One year from today will be the last update. Vista has stopped being
supported for almost a year already and from what I understand windows 7
is good until around 2020 although the exact date is something I do not
know at this time.

Do what you will with this information, just figured I would put it out
is all.

A complex system that does not work is invariably found to have evolved
from a simpler system that worked perfectly.
