there are a couple encryption applications that are useable to encrypt anything from a file to an entire drive depending on what you want.
the most well used of these that I know of is truecrypt(you will have to google the address), although pass wording with applications like WinRar and the built in file pass wording abilities of Microsoft office work, as in you can't open the file without getting the password, its far far harder to unencrypt a file done in truecrypt, than to crack open a .rar, or MS Office locked file. Just zip up your file or folder in the .RAR format and you will have the option to give it a password and you are good to go. I use it for important information that I keep on my computer. It only takes a couple of seconds to unzip when I need the file and I do not have to worry about anyone getting into my private information. I am a JAWS user and it is very screen reader friendly. Hope this helps, Gena -----Original Message----- From: Trish Sent: Tuesday, April 09, 2013 8:02 AM To: jaws Subject: [JAWS-Users] Passwording Folders/Files Can this be done on Window's 7 and using Office 2003?
