We were in Outlook, then we tried it in Word. Now, we changed the settings in Outlook, but it still didn't take. She has this at her job on a desktop, she said it doesn't do this, so something on the laptop only and changing through Mike's way, the verbosity way, and even through settings, just doesn't seem to make any change.

For some reason when you make changes in the default settings it doesn't change them in Word, Excell and Outlook. -----Original Message----- From: Trish Sent: Wednesday, April 17, 2013 8:43 PM To: jaws Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws 12 characters and word announcement My sister just updated to J/12 on her laptop. She wants to have jaws in character mode when editing. We got that fixed for her, but here's the deal.. After she types something like say in either word or an email, jaws will say each character and say the word too. Now, I know yall are thinking, she has her setting on characters and word, but that is not the case. We went all over the verbosity settings comparing hers to mine, setting it same, but still it persist. So now I'm needing to ask yall how to fix this please? This is on a window's 7 laptop running Jaws 12.
