Hi Jim,
I'm using JAWS 14 as well with Windows 7. This sounds like JAWS
is not recognizing that you are highlighting an item. What I
recommend is instead of highlighting a document, use first letter
navigation. Type the first letter of the document until you hear
the one you want and then press enter. That should fix the
problem. If not, I recommend calling Freedom Scientific but try
my suggesment first.
