You can use the JAWS cursor to examine the screen when you are looking for something that you know is there, but is not apparent when you are reading with the PC cursor, like an object that you want to click on. When you find what you are looking for, you can direct the PC cursor to that object, and activate it by pressing the left mouse key on the numeric keypad.
