I have a question about muting JAWS. Whenever a sighted member of my house
wants to use my computer, I use Insert+F4, Enter to unload JAWS. This
allows the sighted mouse user to use the computer without frustration due to
Forms mode. When JAWS is muted, what type of experience does the sighted
user have? Is the result of muting like having JAWS active but with the
volume turned down, or is it like JAWS is not running at all?

I hope I have explained my question clearly.

Thanks,
Annette

Subject: [JAWS-Users] muting and unmuting jaws

Hi sorry if this message is going out twice, but I did not get it sent out
somehow. I have a quick question. Is there a keystroke to mute and unmute
jaws? I want to use my braille display. Thank You Angelina Stabile
