Hi Tom.
Try this.
alt+f to get to the file menu,
Press o or arrow up to Options, and open the submenu.
Arrow down to Email accounts, and press enter.
Arrow up to the account, that you want to use as default, and tab to the
"Use as default button" and press spacebar.
Press the Close button, and you should be done.

Hello give the following a try;
1, open windows live mail;
2, alt+f=file,
Either up arrow to options sub menu and press enter, Or simply press the
letter "o"=options.
3, when your in the options menu, arrow and choose, Email accounts press
enter.
4, now arrow and highlight the account which you wish to have for your
default, Now tab and enter on, set as default button.

found in your email properties so if he or anyone else could help you they
knew what email client you're using! What's so difficult about that?! I
had not received your post stating your email client at the time of my post
