Hi Carla Jo, If you're running Windows7, here is another way to maximize windows. I was reading a tutorial by David Bales at;
http://goo.gl/uu3XW In this tutorial he talks about using the, Windows Key + Up Arrow keystroke for maximizing windows. Apparently in Windows7 you can invoke this keystroke on any window you want to maximize & Windows7 will maximize the window & remember the setting so you don't have to maximize it again. This maximize keystroke only maximizes the window during the current session of the computer use. You can also use the keystroke, Windows Key + down arrow, to restore the window. It won't remember the maximized window after a reboot or restart. Hope this helps. Take care. Mike Take care. Sometimes Jaws gets wonky with reading if the window is not maximized. Alt space, then x to maximize. -----Original Message----- From: Carla Jo [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, June 24, 2013 9:38 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] question about jaws reading a line or sentence I'm not really sure how to explain this, so here goes. When I compose an email for example, I go back to the top to read through it and jaws only reads a few words at a time. Like only 3 or 4 words. I know the read all command, but it didn't use to be like this. I'm using the arrow keys. It is acting like there is a page break in the middle of the sentence. But there's not. Does this make sense? I thought it was supposed to read it line by line.
