David and all, this is great. Thanks, never knew this. Although at least
with mine after you do the insert space bar and press s, you do the exact
same thing to turn it back on. I don't reverse anything.  Judy

Insert + the space bar, then after that hit the letter S. Then reverse the
process to turn speech back on again.

Hi, I am using jaws 13 with win 7. Some time I don't need jaws to speek as
it disturb, specially when I am watching movie. I want to know, is there any
way to mute jaws temperarily? so that it could be silant with out unloading
it?
