Ultimately in my quest to track down the correct answer I will at my
earliest opportunity test this out for my own peace of mind. Thank you for
believing in my failing ability to remember, guess it hasn't degraded too
far yet.

I think your memory is fine, Dave. I think those are multiselect boxes that
people are referring to which is technically different from a combobox.

My memory needed a refresher course, thank you.

The following may be what is required.

select multiple items in an extended list box when performing the following
steps,

To make multiple selections in an extended list box:

navigate to the extended list box and press enter to turn on forms mode .

Press SHIFT+F8 to turn on Multi-Select mode.

Use your UP and DOWN ARROW to move through the list, and press SPACEBAR to
make your appropriate selections.

Press SHIFT+F8 to turn off Multi-Select mode again when you have all the
desired items selected. Note: You can now proceed to complete the form.

Hi All,

I came across the following notes on selecting more than 1 item in a
combobox:

In Windows Explorer, for example, you can hold down the control key while
you arrow through the list. When you get to an item you want to select, you
press the space bar. You're holding down the control key the whole time.
Release the control key when you want to stop selecting items.

If you're in a dialog box with an extended list item, you can use
shift+f8 to enter extended selection mode, arrow through the list, press
control+space or shift+space to select an item and shift+f8 to leave
extended list mode.

HTH
Take care.
Mike

I recall there being a way to do this. Having to do with the control button
and spacebar. I used to be in a fantasy football league and making and
receiving trades scenarios with multiple players was a big part of the
league. It's been years since I've played though and haven't had the need to
exicute this particular action so I can't remember exactly the steps needed.
I'm sure though that there's a way. Maybe another Jaws user with more
experience or Eric from FS if he sees this thread can chime in since he's
always got the answer to pretty much every jaws probllem that comes up on
the list. You could also try the reference materials on the FS website.
There's a page on there with all the JFW keystrokes that you could look at.

IMO, that is not the design purpose of a combo box.
Like a radio button, choose ONE only.
