Get some sighted friend to help out. Some buttons will respond when you route JAWS to PC and then single left-click on them. Two other things I can think of. turn on all graphics: Press JAWSKey+v, and then search for graphics. when you get 1 of 1 search results, tab and the n toggle it to All. there may be a graphic for the actual clicking. Another thing to try is, turn off the virtual cursor with Insert+z; then tab through to the place where the button is. Route JAWS to PC and then single or double left-click on it. Alternatively, with virtual cursor on, you could press JAWSKey+3 before you try spacebar etc on the I Agree button. (I don't know whether HotSpot Clicker would help in this situation, but someone who uses that app might care to comment.)

Outside of JAWS, perhaps you are entering another tab when you activate the button but the new tab isn't in focus. You could change that in the Tabbed browsing settings of internet Explorer. I don't know what the behaviour is in firefox.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] has anyone had trouble clicking some buttons and whatdid you do?

Are there simply some button types that absolutely can't be clicked? Some sites that require electronic signatures simply won't move my I agree button; it just sits there no matter what I try to do. I have routed cursors, tried to hold shift down to get it in a new browser window. If anyone has any helpful hints will gladly receive.

Joanne
