The most important aspect of the following email regarding my ongoing Thunderbird mail list problems is if someone is willing to email me off list for more extensive help I would be very greatful. I don't wish to clutter the list with my problems. I've discussed this in the past but I still have not resolved the issue of adding contacts to a mailing list in Thunderbird. The only work around I have used is to delete the Thunderbird address book, open outlook 2007 and add the new contact and then open Thunderbird again and import the address book. Some might ask, "why then don't you just use Outlook for your default email program?" Outlook does a couple of strange things. First, outlook has a tendecy to periodically move emails from the inbox to the trash folder by itself. Secondly, for some reason a couple of news letters I subscribe too don't format as nicely as it does in Thunderbird. So that is about it in a nut shell so to speak. (smile)
