I finally located the problem that caused the tremendous amount of adds on my grandson’s computer. When the system was cleaned of all malware the problem consisted. It only occurred in IE and not firefox. I started looking at the IE add ins. There so many some came with the computer. Not sure what one did it but we disabled about 20 items and the problem went away. He suspects that it was something for a flash player update. One site he was on kept telling him that he needed to update flash and that is when the problem started I am not sure what was more frustrating. Finding the problem or trying to get around windows 8.
