hi Greg,
LockNote is a simple text file protected by a password,
which means that you can store any info in it that you want.
If you need a password to access a particular website,
you simply open that LockNote file, and copy the necessary password to the
clipboard.
I prefer this method, so that the program is not tied to Internet Explorer
and nothing is automatic.
There is a lot to be said for manually entering passwords while on the
internet.
Another advantage of LockNote over Passkeeper, is that Passkeeper has a
limit on the length of each line, and the number of lines
available in each note section.
I use LockNote to store log-in info for websites, software product keys,
and any personal info that I don't want to be seen by prying eyes.
Also as David mentioned, you can change the master password for LockNote,
and not for Passkeeper.
HTH,
Rick Justice

Tomorrow's another day, another way!
and if tomorrow never comes, problem solved!

David,
After reading the description of Lock Note on the Jaws users program page it
sounds like it is used to store passwords created to protect documents. I'm
looking for a program to store passwords for accessing password protected
websites. Will lock Note do that too?

So far as I am aware they should all be compatible. I have been using pass
keeper for a long time, but lately I have started to recommend lock note for
storing passwords because it is a single file and you can change its'
password if you wish.

Can someone recommend an accessible easy to use password manager. I am
using windows 7 64 bit with Jaws 13. I saw several on the Jaws users email
program list but not sure which one is compatible with my setup.
Thanks,
Greg
