I know there's a help file, however, I thought perhaps someone could compile a list which actually works. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of East, Robin Sent: Wednesday, August 21, 2013 3:06 PM To: 'jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com' Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] PowerPoint 2010 Notes & JAWS Sorry, this is using JAWS 12, windows 7, and Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2010 robin -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of East, Robin Sent: August 21, 2013 1:04 PM To: 'jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com' Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] PowerPoint 2010 Notes & JAWS Hi, in order to read the notes you must have the power point running. If you open up the power point and do nothing else but arrow through it it is not running. Here are some simple instructions on how to read a power point and do a presentation. If this is what you have all ready tried I apologize as I do not know your skill set or experience with Power Point. Hope this helps. Robin East Using JAWS 12 and Windows 7 1. Start the power point or open up the presentation 2. once you have the power point up and running you can arrow through it but if you want to listen to it then do the following: 3. tap F5. this starts the power point presentation. \ 4. To move forward a screen tap the space bar 5. to move back a screen Tap the back space key 6. To read speaker notes do a control + shift + N for notes You must have power point running though!! 7. I need to read the information in the Notes Pane of PowerPoint. The JAWS 12 help said to use Control+Shift+n, but it does not work. FS Tech support confirmed this and said that they think that this problem has been fixed in JAWS 14. Does anyone know if this is the case? When using JAWS 14 can I create and/or edit notes?
