You probably have your view set to hide read messages. Set it to show all
messages.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] outlook and disappearing email
I am using my netbook backup pc running jaws v13, xp and outlook 2007.
My emails seem to disappear from the inbox even if I don't hit the
delete key. Also, these emails are not showing up in the trash or junk
folder. This is baffling.
