There may be a way to change that key via Control panel, Keyboard,
layouts. (Will have a look myself later.)

it is ctrl shift that sends it to the three layouts, and I have it on
us, but some times when I need to use the ctrl shift, like to
highlight some thing, it changes and the ctrl ault drives me nuts, I
have it set to desktop layout. not laptop layout. susie

Hi,
You are set to use some other keyboard layout than US keyboard. and
it's
alt-shift to cycle between the keyboard layouts on your system. the
right alt key functions as alt and ctrl together in european and some
other multilingual keyboards, where it is also known as the alt-gr key
and forms part of accented letter key combinations. Some other keys
are
also different, such as the 'at' key, quote key, et al. So if you want
the US model, press left alt-shift once or more times till you hear
that, and then leave it there.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] a question about Ault, and the CTRl
Hi all, I have a problem, and I am not the only one that has
knotested it.
every once in a while, when I go to use the Ault, key with s, or f4,
or any thing that used the Ault key, I hear Ault, ctrl and that is
rather annoying. I use the right Ault key, with s, and the right Ault
key with the f4, and when it says Ault ctrl, I have to go under my
hand, and use the left Ault key then close the program, and reopen
it.
My question, is, Why? and one more thing?
when I use the shift ctrl on the left, it changes my keyboard, from u
s, Canadian French, and Canadian multi lingual? again the question,
is, Why? oh by the way? it does it to both sides, irritating
