If you were in Notes when you created the new note, then when you close the
note, you will still be in the list of notes within the notes folder. You
have options for getting back to your Inbox at this point.
Option 1: Use Control plus a number on the number row as follows:
Control+1 Inbox
Control+2 Calendar
Control+3 Contacts
Control+4 Tasks
Control+5 Notes
Option 2: Use Control+y to open up a JAWS dialog box that lists all of your
Outlook folders. Use up and down arrows or first letter navigation to
navigate to the name of the folder you want. Press Enter to select that
folder , close the dialog box and be moved into that folder.

Hi,
I can't seem to close the quick notes in outlook 2007.
I press escape to close the notes and press it again and I cannot go back to
the outlook inbox.
So, I end up having to Press alt + F4 and then Outlook closes.
