That was the first thing that I tried and it did not work. Will give it
another shot later this afternoon. Maybe I missed something

Hi Tara,
the option to send a page or link can be unavailable if your mail program is
not the default program for all protocols. To make sure that it is:
1. open the default programs page of the control panel.
2. tab to the set your default programs link and open it.
3. tab to the list of programs, and select your mail program, which in your
case is windows mail.
4. tab to the set this program as default button, and press it.
This may fix your problem, though I've read of cases when it hasn't.
David.

Hi David,
In my case this does not work. Would you have any other ideas?! It's not
really a big deal but, it just has my curiosity peaked as to what is causing
this issue!
Take care.

Hi Mike,
second attempt to make send page/link by e-mail available. You have to be
using an admin account for this.
1. Open the default programs page.
2. tab to the set program access and computer defaults link, and open it.
3. Say yes to the user account dialog.
3. The set program access and computer defaults dialog opens. The intial
focus is a custom radio button which is checked, although jaws does not read
this. Tab to the next control which is an outline button collapsed. Press
spacebar to press this button which changes it to expanded.
4. There are now a number of controls following this button. Tab to the
windows mail radio button, and press spacebar to check it.
5. press enter to press the default ok button.
David.

Hello, I would like to e-mail a link or web page from Internet Explorer but
when I do this, I press alt-f, then scroll down to send and press “enter.”
When I press “enter, it says, “page or link unavailable.” How can I send
web pages or links from Internet Explorer? I have Windows 7, 64-bit, JFW 14
and Windows Live mail.
Chris
From David Whitehead
hello;
try to set windows live mail as your default,
1, control panel,
2, default programs,
3, now, within the list of programs choose windows live mail,
now tab and choose,
set as default button press enter.
hope this helps.
David
Take care.

Several years ago I ran into this problem. I do not remember the cause or
fix. Now when on a web page I can no longer send a page or link by email.
Any suggestions on how to correct?
Thanks
