Liz:

I have a little experience with using Jaws in a virtual machine. I had to
do this a few years ago. What I learned in my reading is that, it can be
done, but because virtual environments are so easy to change that what often
happens is that your Jaws frequently reverts to 40 minute mode due to FS
detecting changes to your lock-in code thus requiring a new activation, and
the next thing you know you have quickly used up all your activations.

If you rarely to never make changes to your virtual machines definition
you may be able to run with Jaws in the virtual environment.

What I did to avoid this in my case, was to run another screen reader in
the virtual environment, namely NVDA.
