I can't tell you what the different options mean but, I use the unicode
option and this works quite well
I use this a lot ,, especially when copy/cut from emails that have tables as
in air line confirmations.

If you're using word, it worked in both word xp and word 2010, use the
paste
special command. With your web page, or whatever you want to copy from the
webpage, on the clipboard, hit alt+e, then s. You'll be offered the choice
of pasting it as an html, rtf, or Unicode text among other things. Karen
