I get a message spoken by JAWS indicating I am not protected.
I don't know why it happens.
I just checked my microsoft firewall and was off also.
I made sure it was on around a month ago.

Hmmmmmm

is it just mcafee that turns off the firewall, or do other security applications turn it off. how do you know when it is off, this would be good to know.

Thanks George,
I'm tired of my McAfee on 3 different computers with different levels of
McAfee and all 3 turning off my firewall.
No matter how many times I repair it.
I'll be sure not to get Norton.

Thanks for your help.

Hello Rich,
I used AVG Pro on my computers and it's Jaws friendly.
What ever you decide DON'T buy NORTON!!
