I have not tried jaws 15 yet, but how I find the file menu I just press the
alt key and arrow along the menubar. I use windows 7 and this works fine.
I use alt+f to find the file menu on my netbook, but certain programs I
still can use just the alt key. try it to see if it works.

Since official jaws 15 today I no longer can find the file menu using alt f,

For years I have always used the exit program from the file menu to close
windows live mail. I believe there are other options within that alt f
menu.
yes, I have always had virtual ribbons on and use them but alt f always used
to bring up the file menu with its options.
