Are you using Mcafee Site Adviser, which comes with the McAfee Security
Suite package? The reason I ask is that McAfee Site Adviser is available as
a free, stand-alone program, but from the product description, it sounds
like it might not work with JAWS because it uses colored icons to rank the
safety of a web site before you visit it. Green means the site is safe,
yellow means the site may be risky and red means the site is dangerous.
Unless these icons also contain some verbal description, JAWS probably will
recognize them. I am interested in Site Adviser as a replacement for AVG
Link Scanner, a similar web site safety checker that provides verbal
descriptions of web site safety status, but no longer works with Google.
Web site safety checkers add an additional layer of protection that warn you
of potentially harmful sites before you access them from your search engine,
and because AVG Link Scanner worked well with JAWS, I was wondering whether
McAfee Site Adviser would work also.

Mcafee Total protection does not work well with jaws after some recent
updates.
good news, Mcafee internet Security sweet, is totally accessible with Jaws
15.
I still had a active subscription left for the Mcafee internet security
sweet.
So I downloaded a copy of it, and did an experiment, and uninstalled
Mcafee total protection, which I could not see any more, and installed
mcafee internet security sweet.
it was a total success, everything is available and works with Jaws 15
very seamlessly.
I set my weekly scan schedule options.
I saw that my real time protection and fire wall and web and email scanner
were all on.
I activated there safe website and safe search extra options.
I also used their cleaner program very easily and uninstalled c cleaner
and all of its endless updates.
Mcafee automatically does all of its own updates, so you do not need to
worry about them.
depending on your computer set up, you might need some sighted help to set
it up originally, but after that you can do it all with jaws.
I hope this helps someone out...
