I did find something called Microsoft word starter under Microsoft office.
It seems to work similar to XP's Microsoft word.
However, when I hit control I or B, I do not get the same results for italicized or bold as in XP.

did you look in your programs list to see if it's listed? if not, either buy
the office cd, or download it from the internet

Hi Rich,

You need to have Office to get MS Word, as far as I know. HTH

Take care.

Hi all,
With Win7 and 15.0 I have no problem finding “my documents”
However, I can not seem to locate “microsoft word”.
I believe I do not have any of the office software on this new PC.
How can I find Microsoft Word so I can put it on my desk top and use it for
word processing?
I have been able to find “word pad” and note pad”, I’m not sure what they
are, but I think those things are different than what I am looking for.

Thanks.

Rich
